I-Save Share Saving Account

If you are between the ages of 13 and 18 and want to start or continue managing your finances in a safe and productive way, this account is for you.

With the I-Save Share Savings Club Account of Caribe Federal Credit Union you can learn to manage your money, start saving and participate in talks, events and contests that can benefit you. You can open the account with a deposit of $10.00. You will have access through Caribe Online where you can see the activity of your account. You will receive your account statement monthly and you can choose how you want to receive it, digitally or by postal mail.

We invite you to stop by any of our branches to open your account. You will need the following documents:

  • Your original birth certificate
  • Your social security card and of your father, mother or guardian, with whom the account will be opened jointly, in original
  • A valid identification with photo of the parent or guardian
  • $10.00 to deposit

What do you gain by having your I-Save account?

  • Funds deposited into the account cannot be used as collateral on a loan.

  • The parent or guardian will need to sign the account agreement.

  • The account is opened in the name of both (youth + father, mother or guardian) as a joint account.

  • You will have the opportunity to earn a deposit of $25.00 to your savings account. How? Well, you can qualify if you are a student with a 3.00 GPA or higher. You will have until May 31 of the current year to send your final grades to marketing@caribefederal.com and participate.

  • Annually we carry out different contests in which you can participate.

It is important that you know the following:
