First Gathering of Women Entrepreneurs from the Mountains by the Alas a la Mujer Foundation

At Caribe Federal, we sponsored the First Gathering of Women Entrepreneurs from the Mountains, held by the Alas a la Mujer Foundation on October 8, 2025, at the University of Puerto Rico, Utuado Campus. This event was part of the activities celebrating Cooperativism Month. In addition to offering a presentation on the importance of saving, given by financial coach Yarismar Torres, we gave participants the opportunity to complete a form applying for a scholarship for their micro-enterprise. As a result of this initiative, five women entrepreneurs were selected.
